Mother chose a burial at sea, exploring the seven seas; Here I record my journey to Lake Baikal of Siberia, on my perpetual search of her shadow in the four corners of the world.
母親當年選擇海葬，漂泊四方，於是我到訪西伯利亞的貝加爾湖，
尋找她最有可能存在之地，並將旅程紀錄於畫面之上。

國王、士兵、花農、蜜蜂與青蛙
In a kingdom not so faraway, there lived a king who is obsessed with flowers. One day, he decided to privatize all flowers across the kingdom. Soldiers were ordered to go after anyone who possesses, sells, buys or plants flowers.
How would the King, soldier, florist, bee and frog react and interact to fight for what they desire?
5 AVA alumni curate this exhibition to let the voice of the King, soldier, florist, bee and frog be heard.
在一個不太遙遠的王國裡，住著一個迷戀於花的國王。有一天，國王決定要將城裡所有的花私有化，宣布實施禁花令。任何藏花、賣花、買花或種花者將會被士兵追捕。
國王、士兵、花農，蜜蜂和青蛙將會如何回應這個改變，爭取屬於自己的結局？
五位視覺藝術院舊生將會協助國王、士兵、花農，蜜蜂和青蛙舉辦展覽，給予他們平台發聲。

On Duration
綿延之上
“On Duration” presents self-commissioned works of eight emerging artists, collectively responding to the philosophical conundrum of “the trolley problem.” Each departing from a different angle, their practice spans painting, print-making, sculpture, videography and installation, delving into the most basic but paradoxical concepts underneath this hypothetical dilemma. Just like how French philosopher Henri Bergson designates time as the uncountable, indivisible duration, artists in this exhibition roam between the topics of life, time and eternity, reflecting on the socio-political significance behind the ordinary. Their practice focuses on the immeasurable elements in life, and together presenting interesting thoughts evoked by the everyday surroundings. “On Duration” is on view through 6 to 25 September 2019, at the AVA gallery, Kai Tak campus.
「綿延之上」展出八名新興藝術家的自我委任作品，共同回應「有軌電車問題」這一哲學難題。藝術家們的創作從不同的角度出發，跨越繪畫、版畫、雕塑、錄像和裝置等媒介，探究了這個假設的困境之下，那些最基本但又自相矛盾的概念。正如法國哲學家亨利·柏格森將時間定義為不可度量與分割的綿延（Durée）一樣，本次展覽的藝術家們也在生命、時間和永恆的主題之間游走，反思習以為常的生活細節背後蘊含的社會政治意義。他們的實踐聚焦生命中難以估量的元素，呈現由週遭事物引發的多樣化的有趣想法。「綿延之上」將於2019年9月6日至25日在啓德校園視覺藝術院畫廊展出。
